Outside corners… leave the ‘excess product’ over the corner to dry, then cut FibreDecor down the edge with an exacto knife.

31. DO I HAVE TO FINISH THE ENTIRE JOB IN ONE DAY?
No, dry time is slow with FibreDecor, so if you need to stop for some reason, simply put a wet rag or towel over the unused product in the pail and you can leave it overnight. When you return to complete your installation, simply wet the edge where you left off with hot water, blend in your continued application, and carry on applying. (depending on the moisture level in your home, you may need to add a small amount of water to the pail)

Simply rinse tools and hands under water. Rugs can be vacuumed. Door frames etc. are rinsed with a cloth while FibreDecor is still wet. If you noticed areas you missed while the product was wet, use a sponge soaked with warm water to remove any excess on trim or baseboard.

or in heavy ‘finger’ traffic areas such as around light switches or wall corners, spray FibreDecor with any fabric protector such as scotch guard.

Yes. Damaged areas can be soaked with hot water to soften the FibreDecor, then re-rolled to repair the problem. Or, if stained, remove stained material and replace with new product. Nailholes are hardly ever noticed in a wall covered with FibreDecor, however, they can be repaired by wetting the small area with hot water and repositioning FibreDecor with your finger to cover the hole.

FibreDecor is very soil resistant and will take much abuse. To clean, just spray a milt cleanser (light soapy water mix will do) and wipe with a cold damp sponge.
37. IF I NOTICE SOME BROWNING ON MY WALL, WHAT SHOULD I DO?
Browning or brown spots are usually caused by improper priming, follow these tips….
On solid white colours: if stained due to water problems, or walls not properly primed, expecially over wood paneling , a clear household bleach works very well to remove stains on solid white colours of Fibredecor.
On Coloured FibreDecor: Remove the stained (or browning) FibreDecor from the wall and brush on a good coat of STAIN BLOCKER PRIMER onto the flat wall. (the wall may not looked stained underneath the FibreDecor) Once the primer has dried, wet the edges of the area and apply new FibreDecor to the wall.
IN ALL CASES RUNNING AN OSCILLATING FAN TO SPEED UP THE DRYING PROCESS WILL REDUCE THE CHANCE OF BLEED THROUGH.
38. CAN I PAINT OVER FIBREDECOR?
Yes. Fibredecor can be painted over with either latex or oil paints, which leaves you with a textured wall in the colour of your choicel However, you lose the ‘strip ability’ factor, much like painting over wallpaper.
39. HOW DO I REMOVE FIBREDECOR FROM THE WALL, SHOULD I NO LONGER WANT A TEXTURED LOOK.
EASY! Soak the wall with hot water from a spray bottle, until the FibreDecor becomes soft and can be easily scraped off of the wall. A wallpaper steamer works just as well.
40. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR FIBREDECOR TO DRY?
In most cases, FibreDecor will dry between 12 and 24 hours after application.
It really depends on the moisture level in your house. The drying process consists of water evaporating, so the faster you can get this to happen, the quicker it dries. Opening windows and using an oscillating fan will drastically speed up the drying process.
